Free Water Taxi to and from the South Beach boat!  Water Taxi operates a special feeder boat to get you to the South Beach Express departure point at Stop 7.  Your South Beach ticket is also valid for Water Taxi service after you return from South Beach.  See the schedule table below for morning pick-up times:

Parking: Valet parking for our Fort Lauderdale departure point is available at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina Hotel, right next to the ferry dock for $11.00.  PLEASE do not park in the public lot next to the boat, as the meters do not allow enough time for the trip.  Water Taxi is not responsible for any parking tickets received.  Click here to download PDF directions to the dock location in Fort Lauderdale.

Schedule: Operates Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, December 26 - April 27, 2009.

• Depart Fort Lauderdale
  • March 5 - April 27: 10:00 AM
  • Vessel departs at Water Taxi Stop #7, directly below the SE 17th Street causeway on the west side of the Intracoastal Waterway.   
  • Please arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to departure to ensure that you have time to park and board the boat.  The South Beach Express must leave on time in order to make scheduled bridge openings.  We will not wait for late arrivals!

• Arrive South Beach
  • March 5 - April 27: Approx. 12:30 PM
  • Vessel will drop off Miami Beach Marina, located at 300 Alton Road.
        
• Depart South Beach: Approx. 4 hours after arrival.
  • Your captain will inform you of the exact departure time as you disembark.  Please be on time as the boat must leave on time to account for scheduled bridge openings. 
  • Vessel departs from the Miami Beach Marina at 300 Alton Road.
