Hello Water Taxi!

My name is Gloria and I’m from the UK. I was on a cruise in April this year and 1 of the places we visited was Fort Lauderdale.  4 of us shared a cab and asked to be taken to the Water Taxi's, it took 3 cab's before we were at the right place (Cost us a fortune) Anyway I told Janet about our experience (she's a ticket collector for you) what a lovely person she is. (We are in our late 60's and were really stressed) she helped us by given us a first class service!  The stress went away!

I can't thank your staff enough. The running commentary was 1st class. her taxi could not get us back to the ship in time she even let us off told us to wait for the next taxi and say "We are Janet's guests" When the taxi arrived the chap said "are you Janet's guests" she had phoned him, how great is that? In the end we had a brilliant time after a bad start, only wish we'd had more time to see other places, what a beautiful country you live in.

Also if she ever comes to the UK we'd be happy to put her up. I did offer her the invitation but she may not remember.  We live in Sunderland the North East of England. 

Please pass our regards onto her and her colleagues. We hope to visit again one day!

Hello, Matthew,

Just wanted to let you know about our "voyage" last Saturday evening led by Captain Gerry!  In every way the evening was outstanding and our guests were blown away by the whole evening!

From our condo we have a bird's eye view of the cruise ships heading out to sea and our party was launched with that.  Then we shared hoagies from La Spadas (and if you haven't tried them, I suggest you do!  They are the best in all of S. Florida) and a host of other munchies.  Our cruise began, as you know, at 7:30 and everyone couldn't believe how much fun it was. 

Even though all but two were locals, they loved the trip down the New River most of all.  Upon our return we were treated to one of the loveliest and most spectacular fireworks display in prep for the Super Bowl. 

My husband had the best birthday ever and we can't thank you and Lauren enough for helping us put it all together!  It was fantastic!

Hello Lisa! 

The ride on the Intracoastal and New River is beautiful, the scenery is breathtaking, and the weather was perfect. It was very relaxing and the evening breeze was so refreshing. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a nighttime fare.

I will return and bring our entire 2011 season of out-of-town visitors. This is definitely an experience not to be missed and I will look forward to having again!

Dear Chris,

The charter on Friday evening was spectacular.  The crew was knowledgeable and friendly.  I have been a water taxi rider since its inception and must say the new owners and management are wonderful. 

It is surprising to me how many of the guests Friday night (all Broward County Realtors) did not know of its existence.  Too many western dwellers never seem to leave their subdivisions but Friday night they were pleasantly astounded with there Water Taxi night out!  I know many will ride again and again.
