You haven’t seen Ft. Lauderdale or Hollywood in Florida until you’ve seen them from The Water Taxi.
Fort Lauderdale has nightlife, the shops of Las Olas Boulevard, beautiful beaches, yacht clubs and majestic cruise ships traveling in and out of Port Everglades but nothing compares to its famous Intracoastal Waterway. The canals that make up the Waterway are so unique and beautiful, they have earned Ft Lauderdale the moniker “Venice of America”.
It’s Official. The best way to See Ft. Lauderdale is from The Water Taxi.

In the New York’s Daily News, writer Gina Salamone wrote, “The best way to get around (Ft Lauderdale) is on the Water Taxi, which will zip you up and down the Intracoastal Waterway and New River all day. The yellow boats weave their way to 14 different stops from 10:30 a.m. to around midnight, depending on location.”
Since 1998, The Water Taxi’s “Yellow Boats” have been weaving their way to different stops in Ft Lauderdale from 10:30 a.m. to around midnight, depending on location. The fleet includes 12 vessels ranging from intimate Old Port Class open air boats, ideal for small groups, to the Island Class 65 ft twin diesel Island boats, with climate controlled cabin, full liquor bar, ADA accessible restroom, 200 passenger capacity, 20 knot top speed and premium audio system.
Now you Can Get The Best Views of Hollywood from the Water Taxi.
The Water Taxi now reaches the popular destinations of Hollywood. In 2010, Water Taxi expanded its routes and now connects Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood, Florida. Stops are located in the heart of Hollywood Beach, steps from the fabulous Broadwalk and dockside eateries. The expansion route to and from Hollywood allows visitors to transfer in Fort Lauderdale, travel the waterways and explore all of that Fort Lauderdale has to offer. The Hollywood Water Taxi we use from December through April features a cabin with air conditioning/heat, a full liquor bar snacks and restrooms.
