Great American Beach Party
Water Taxi will be providing special shuttle service connecting the Las Olas Riverfront and the Great American Beach Party on Fort Lauderdale Beach on Saturday, May 25. Service will operate from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm. Wristband prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children 17 and under. This is a great way to avoid the traffic and enjoy Fort Lauderdale’s waterways while you relax all the way to the beach! Click here for more information about the Party!
PLEASE NOTE that the Hollywood Water Taxi will not operate on Saturday, May 25, but the Fort Lauderdale service will operate as scheduled.
Moonlight Madness
Ride the Water Taxi every evening for our Moonlight Madness special! Everyone pays kid prices starting at 5:00 pm, and you still get unlimited boardings at all of our stops until midnight. Dine dockside or visit some of Fort Lauderdale’s spectacular nightlife, then relax and leave the driving to us as you cruise under the stars.
Winterfest Boat Parade
Water Taxi service is suspended around 4:00 PM the evening of the Boat Parade as the New River closes in preparation for this spectacular event. Water Taxi vessels are available for charter either to participate in the parade, or for viewing. This year’s parade will take place on December 14, 2013. Please call (954) 467-6677 for details.
Winterfestival of Lights
Join us in December for an amazing spectacle of Holiday lights along the Intracoastal Waterway and New River. Board any Water Taxi after 5:00 pm and you can see the lights all night, and everyone rides for kids’ prices. Water Taxis also stop at popular shopping destinations including the Galleria Mall (Stop 9) and Las Olas Boulevard (Stop 3) so you can enjoy a night out and some last minute shopping at the same time!
Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
Water Taxi operates in support of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show the last weekend in October. There will be no service to Hollywood during the Show.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Water Taxi will operate all boats from one hour before the show opens until one hour after the show closes during the boat show. Show hours are as follows:
- Thursday – Sunday: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
- Monday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
I DON’T WANT TO GO TO THE SHOW, BUT I WANT TO TAKE A RIDE
Guests who want to ride the Water Taxi may purchase a wrist band at Stops 10/Shooters, Stop 9/GalleryONE, Stop 6/Pier Sixty-Six, or Stop 5/Hilton Marina.
Tortuga Music Festival Transportation:
Water Taxi operated special continuous shuttle service for the uber-successful 2013 Tortuga Music Festival.
If plans go through for 2014, the two day festival will rock Fort Lauderdale Beach Park from approximately 11:00 am to 9:30 pm Saturday and Sunday.
There will be very little parking available on the beach during the event, so park at Las Olas Riverfront or GalleryONE Doubletree and Galleria Mall and board Water Taxis to the show. Service will operate about every 20 minutes, an all day wristband will be $10.00.
Hollywood service will operate as scheduled, but there will be no regular Water Taxi service in Fort Lauderdale. Please note that the Hollywood boat does not provide a connection to the concert.
Lauderdale Air Show
When the Lauderdale Air Show takes to the skies over Fort Lauderdale Beach, Water Taxi will operate a regular schedule during the show, but is a great way to skip the traffic and get to the show site!
